Easter Seals Central Alabama's Speech
Department serves clients of all ages with communication problems. These
problems may be resulting from:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Stroke and traumatic brain injury
- Dysfluent speech (stuttering)
- Developmental delay
- Voice disorder
- Articulation disorder
- Motor dysfunction
- Cognitive impairment
- Clients with swallowing disorders
We serve clients from many of the surrounding counties and occasionally from
other states and other countries.
The Speech Pathology Department is staffed by three full-time speech/language
pathologists.
Easter Seals also serves as a clinical site for Auburn University, the
University of South Alabama and the University of West Georgia to enable
students to attain clinical hours toward graduation under the supervision of
our certified staff.
Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid, All Kids, other private
insurance and private pay accepted as covered by your insurance.
The Autism Diagnostic Clinic is also managed through
