One of the core services that ESCA offers is job placement. As part of this program we offer on-the-job training (OJT). We believe that people with all disabilities are able to return to the workforce and be successful. OJT Consumers are placed at a work site for 160 hours. The salary is paid by ESCA and the employer has no obligation to hire the person.

It is a win-win situation for both parties as the employer has an extended amount of time to evaluate a potential employee. This is a great opportunity for consumers to demonstrate they have the capability and desire for returning to the workforce.

Currently we have five OJT sites: ALFA (who has actually hired six of our consumers), Capitol Hill Health Care, Frazer UMC, Hudson Penn, PC, and Playtime, Inc. We are currently working to develop two other job sites.
