Who can benefit from a vocational evaluation?

  • Individuals 16 years of age or older
  • An individual who has no idea as to what vocational direction to pursue, successfully.
  • An individual who is unrealistic as to his/her capabilities or whose interests do NOT seem to match capabilities.
  • The “student” who does not know how to prepare for the vocation of his/her choice or may lack direction and motivation with regard to future career planning
  • An employee who is currently having difficulty in or who is dissatisfied with her/her present position.
  • Students who are receiving special education services and need transition planning
  • Students who may be interested in enrolling in career and technical education classes while in high school
  • New employees who are being considered for certain positions
  • Students who are planning to go to college but are unsure of their college major
  • Individuals who have experienced extended periods of unemployment
  • People in all stages of their careers: Career Transitioners; People placed at risk or with disabilities; People entering the work force for the first time; Injured workers with transferable skills; Retired people
