When you give a donation, YOU are ensuring the future of the services we provide to individuals with disabilities and those who are deaf and hard of hearing.
This is an example of how your dollars will help:
$10 - will provide a Elementary School Child a book to learn sign language.
$25 - will provide speech and hearing screening for a child or adult or provide a wireless doorbell signaler to alert a person who is deaf or hard of hearing that someone is at their front door.
$50 - will provide two days of specialized care for a child with a disability or provide one hour of interpreting services at a funeral service so that a deaf family member is fully included in remembering their loved one.
$100 - will provide a week of speech therapy for a child or adult or provide a baby cry signaler that allows a deaf parent to rest easily at night knowing they will be awoken if their child cries.
$250 - will provide a vocational assessment for a high school student with a disability
$500 - will rovide a vocational evaluation to determine a career path for a person with a disability ; A month of transportation for a person with a disability to receive job development and job placement services; provide a smoke detector system in a deaf persons home.
$1000 - will provide training for an individual with a disability to become a Certified Nursing Assistant â€“ A week of vocational training, transportation, and lunch for a person with a disability
$2000 - will provide computer training for an adult with quadriplegia or six months of speech and language services for a child with autism
$2500 - will provide a Preschool tuition scholarship for a child with special needs to attend our early childhood development center for four months
$5000 - will provide ten scholarships for children with speech and language disorders to attend a summer speech camp program - Two week college preparation class for ten students with learning disabilities
